Finding ways to support people exploring their personal Grief and Loss experiences can be an ongoing disorientating dilemma. This experiential Creative Arts Therapy workshop uses a session by session journaling approach utilising a range of modalities (visual arts, creative writing, mindfulness and music) to engage clients with their journey and offers a way of helping them to work alongside a therapist and also use self-reflection at home in a safe and supported way.
The client group this work focuses on covers a range of ages from young people through to adults. It is also appropriate for children, utilising adult family members support.
Therapists, counsellors, SWIS and other Social Workers could all integrate this way of working into their practice. There will be time to look at how this process can be adapted to suit all age ranges. (Students also welcome).
Rhythm Power – Drumming
